Audience is one of the most important key elements in building your writing piece, as it is the people that you can always expect to read your writing, and also includes those who you do not know of, that might read it. Thinking about your audience, before, during and after writing is important. Tones and style of writing helps in writing for your target audience, as depending how you write, can sometimes come off as being informal for your formal target audience, and formal for your informal audience.

Throughout the semester I got the understanding that no matter how much you think your audience might know about the topic, I should always assume that they know absolutely nothing about what what I am writing about, as sometimes you might get an unintended audience of people who are either educated on your topic or not very well-informed. so it is vital to stay clear in your writing and try to hit all key points to maximize the effect that your writing can have on any reader that comes across it.
