Course Learning Outcome #4

CLO #4: Engage in the collaborative and social aspects of writing processes.

This course learning outcome was achieved through the ways in which Professor Carr invoked her style of teaching in such a productive, flexible, manageable (at times), and interesting way. From the way how the everyone overall actively engaged and participated in class discussions to how groups discussions and participation were also done, has single-handedly reminded me of the very importance of why it is important for not only teachers to work at hard at making sure that students are learning and having fun, but also that students should also make the effort to learn, and explore learning in new interactive ways, which is very healthy for wanting to be at school and our learning/studying habits. Reason why I earlier said that the teaching is sometimes manageable, is mostly based, or probably, completely based on how I managed the course material and my time. At some points in the course I began to lose track of some of the materials, and I began to blame the class for various reasons I wish not to mention. However, At the end of the day I realized that it was my own fault for not managing my time properly and for being ashamed of asking for help. This is an experience that I have to learn from to improve off of for my future college career.

Also as mentioned before in Course Learning Outcome #2, I also achieved this learning outcome through multiple peer review sessions and online discussion forums via Blackboard.

Below are one the ways in which I engaged in the corroborative and social aspects of writing process through doing peer review sheets for the expository essay drafts for my peers:
