CLO #8: Practice systematic application of citation conventions.

This class focuses on the MLA citation conventions and throughout the semester this was used to cite all of our research sources. I excelled at this course learning outcome as we practiced our citations through the annotated bibliography and the works cited page that was require for all major writing assignment. This was not fairly new to me, since I can recall the one or two times I practiced it in high school ‘in preparation for college’. However I was not entirely familiar with its entire systematic application in my writing, but through the continued practice of it over the semester in this English Course, I felt like I have always been doing it. Citation is giving the proper credit to the source with the original words/ideas you invoked in your research.
