Course Learning Outcome #2

CLO #2: Develop strategies for reading, drafting, collaborating, revising and editing.

I achieved this course learning outcome through collaborating with my peers in in-class peer review sessions and also online peer reviewing. My professor made several groups in which we had to revise, edit and comment on one another drafts, a week or two before the final draft is due. We used the several projectors and boards that were in the classroom, along with laptops to help in the revision process for each group. Some components of our essays. such as thesis, conclusions or body paragraphs were posted in an online discussion forums on Blackboard, were we could post real-time, insightful comments on group members’ works. Not to mention that the professor was just involved and engaged in every group discussions and individual work, who I think is to thank for having such interesting strategies for revising and editing, which was flexible and successful in helping to improve my peers and I writing skills.
